New Puppy and Wedding Pictures!

Time for some good news! We got a Puppy! Her name is Dafne, and she is a Westie (West Highland Terrier). She's about 13 or 14 weeks old now, and she's really making a name for herself among our 2 cats. Dafne gets most of the attention, and of course, it traditional Westie form, she loves chasing and barking at the cats. We even had to go so far as the get those child gates to block her off (and let me tell you, they were not easy to find in Walmart! I had never been in that section of the store where they have the children stuff!).

Check out some pictures below on our flickr page of Dafne.

Now for some more good news! We finally purchased the digital rights to the wedding photos. It took a full day, but we managed to upload them all, in high resolution form, to flickr. Because we own the rights, you can download any of them, print any of them, and if you don't have hi-speed internet connection, or just want a copy for yourself, we can send you a copy of the DVD we received from the photographer, Matthew Tennison. Check out our flickr page below.

The pictage website should be shut down by now, so please order any pictures you would like via the following method on flickr:

1. Click on the "Prints & More" link at the top of the page, and in the drop-down menu, select "Order QOOP Prints". It should be the 2nd item in the list
2. This will take you to the qoop.com website, where you will see all of our flickr albums. You should have the wedding photo album in the section that says "Selected Images Tray". If you want to print the entire album (that's a lot of pictures! - 724 to be exact), you should click the button that says "Clear All" on the right side of the screen.
3. Now, you can click on the "Gina and Paul's Wedding Album" link on the left side, which will populate the top bar (AKA "Image Tray) with all 724 images in the album. Click the left and right arrows to move to the next subset of images.
4. Drag and drop the images you would like to print into the "Selected Images Tray", then click the "Next" button to proceed to the page where you can select image sizes.
5. Pre-selected for you, will be the 4x6 image size. You will need to select another image size before removing the 4x6 image size, if you're looking to print something other than 4x6 pictures.
6. You can also select the link that says "More Sizes", and you can select to print just about any size, even poster size!
7. Select your settings on the right size (i.e. border, finish, and cropping - I recommend setting it to crop images if needed), then hit the "Next" button to review your order, then "Checkout" to finish your purchase.

I hope this helps! Also, if downloading pictures in flickr.com to take into Walmart or some other photo development store, click on the picture in the album you want, then click on the "All Sizes" button right above the picture. You will see available sizes, and I recommend clicking on "Original", which should be either 3504x2336 or 2336x3504 resolutions, then clicking the "Download the Original Size" link. Each image is between 2 and 7 MB, so you will need to burn them to a CD or a larger USB key to take them to Walmart. You can always call me or email me to get help on this.

Lastly, when printing these photos, you will be asked if you have permission to print them. We have scanned in the letter from our photographer as a PDF file you can download below. If the print shop has any issues with the first letter, which hands full control of the digital rights to both of us, we made an an additional letter with our letterhead, stating that the bearer of both letters may print any pictures they want. Again, if you have any issues, please feel free to contact us. Enjoy!
